WHAT IS THE FREEDOM FUTBOL CLUB SOCCER PROGRAM?
The Freedom Futbol Club is a community based, all volunteer, independent, competitive soccer program based in south
Kansas City.  Playing on one of our teams is a full year commitment with the guidance of professional, licensed, volunteer coaches. Our coaches focus on advanced player development and our teams offer a higher level of competitive play.  70% of our coaches are nationally “D” licensed.  Players practice at least twice per week for 1½- 2 hours each, play in 1-2 games per week (on weekends during the soccer season) and play in 2-5 tournaments per year.

WHAT AGES CAN PLAY?
Teams are formed based on the player’s age as of
August 1, 2009. The turnout and the skill level of the players at tryouts will determine the actual number of boys and girls teams that are formed. Teams will be formed based on players chosen at tryouts.

E-mail the coaches at clubinfo@freedomfutbolclub.com for more information.

Hope to see you there.

Photobucket   Freedom Futbol Club Rises To The Occasion. Bravely acknowledging a 4:30 am wake-up call, the players, parents and friends of Freedom Futbol Club made their way to Union Station to compete in the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure on Sunday, August 9th. They fielded nearly 50 folks to help support research, and ultimately, a cure for breast cancer. Stacey Payne, Director of Coaching for the club, challenged the players to try and beat the coaches on the run, and although none of them finished ahead of him, he is looking forward to next year, when his players will be one year taller and he anticipates even greater participation, to give him a run for his money.

South Madison. The project is planned in four phases, and each phase
will close a particular section of South Madison. The first phase is the
construction of a new entrance to Recreation Park. The new entrance will
be north of the current park entrance and involves the construction of a
roundabout. Access to the park will ONLY be from the south during this
phase. The posted detour will be Route J to Hubach Hill Road to
S.
Madison. Work on this phase will take several months. For more
