In 1985 Uncle Ralph's Cookies started from scratch, when Ralph and Peggy Wight set out to add a second income to the family using their favorite cookie recipes her husband had refined. They rented ovens at the local Knights of Columbus kitchen, baked 1,500 cookies that first year, and used the family car to deliver them to outlets. The company steadily expanded and eventually moved to its own 1,500 square foot facility. Soon the idea of offering frozen, ready-to-bake dough was born. Cookies and brownies are mixed during the day and whisked, immediately, into freezers. Frozen dough now accounts for 75% of the business. Today Uncle Ralph's Cookies sells approximately 20 million cookies and brownies per year through our cookie dough fundraiser, wholesale program, and through our sweet shoppe. Employees work around the clock in a 28,000 square foot facility the company has occupied since 1993.
