Ballenger Creek Park
Located on the west side of Ballenger Creek Pike (MD Rt. 351) just outside of Frederick, Maryland, this large county park features three softball fields with identical dimensions. Home run fences are located 285' from home plate. To get there, exit Rt. 15 north at Rt. 340 west. After crossing the Rt. 15 bridge, bear right onto the ramp to Rt.351-Ballenger Creek Pike/Rt. 180-Jefferson Pike. On the ramp, turn right and go across the Rt. 340 bridge. The park entrance is located on the right side, just past the Ballenger Creek Middle School.
Pinecliff #1
As you enter Pinecliff Park, bear to the right at the split and it will take you to Field #1.
Pinecliff #2
As you enter Pinecliff Park, bear to the left at the split. Field #2 will be the first field on your right past the creek.
Pinecliff #3
As you enter Pinecliff Park, bear left,go across the small creek, and past Field #2. Field #3 is the second field in on your right.
Pinecliff #4
As you enter Pinecliff Park, bear to the left and follow across the creek and past Fields #2 & #3. Field #4 is the 3rd field on the right.
Pinecliff #5
As you enter Pinecliff Park, bear to the left, go across the creek, and Field #5 wil be the fourth field on the left near the dead end.
Pinecliff Park
Interstate 70 at Exit 55, South Street. Westbound traffic should turn left at the stop sign at the end of the exit ramp, follow the access road, then left on Reichs Ford Road. Eastboun traffic on I-70 should turn left at the end of the ramp. From either direction, follow Reichs Ford Road across the Monocacy River and turn left on Pinecliff Park Road into the park.
