Welcome to the Fall River Basketball Association website!

We provide recreational and competitive basketball programs for youth in the Fall River area of Nova Scotia.

Registration is now closed and our 17 Rebels teams are registered with the Metro Basketball Association for the season.  Many thanks to our registrar, Elwin LeRoux for all his hard work on behalf of the association.

NOTICE:  The Lockview Holiday Clinic for Mini aged boys and girls scheduled for Monday December 29th has been CANCELLED due to low early registration numbers.

Registration is now closed.  All players that intend to participate in our 2008-2009 programs should be registered and paid in full at this time.  Players who withdraw from their program after Nov. 1 can receive a 50% refund.  Players who withdraw after Dec. 1 are not entitled to any refund.

Gymnasiums: Players and parents are requested to please comply with all gymnasium rules.  Many gymnasiums prohibit all food and drinks other than water inside the gymnasiums.  Some gymnasiums also prohibit outdoor footwear (e.g. Ash Lee Jefferson Elementary in Fall River).  These rules are in place to preserve the quality of the playing surfaces in our gyms.

"Rebels" Uniforms:  Rebels uniforms are property of the Fall River Basketball Association are to be worn for Rebels games only.  After washing, please hang to dry.  Do not put uniforms in the dryer as both heat and abrasion destroy the lettering and numbers.  Uniform deposit cheques collected at the time of registration will be cashed at the end of the season if uniforms are not returned or are returned damaged.

Rebels Teams (Competitive) 

At this time, all the Rebels teams are set and registrered with the MBA.  We have 17 teams ranging from Jr. Mini to Juvenile.  The MBA season has started for the Bantam and younger teams and will commence on Nov.9 for the older teams.
