Big League Baseball
This is a division that was set-up for players that plan on playing high school baseball. The Big League Division allows the players to get out and start knocking off the rust from over the off season. Work on stretching and fundamentals. Big League players ages range from 16 to 18 years of age. There are usually (2) teams that are divided equally by the coaches based on talent. This division usually starts around the 3rd week of April and play approximately 8 games, weather permitting. Games are played on Sundays and Wednesdays at FLL complex on diamond #5. Criteria to play -
Senior/Junior Baseball The Senior/Junior Division is a competitive division with player ages ranging from 13 to 15 years of age. All games are played on diamonds with 90' bases. Players coming into the Senior/Junior Division are required to go through tryouts and draft processes. Players are redrafted every year. There are approximately 6 to 7 FLL teams based on the number of new players coming into the division. This division plays all of its games at the FLL complex. This division usually starts around the last week in April and play approximately 16 games, weather permitting. Games are played throughout the week nights and Saturdays. Based on scheduling and rain make-ups, teams could play as little as once a week or as many as 3 to 4 times a within a given week. Games at the FLL complex are played on diamonds #2 and #5. There is an All Star tournament that players can be selected to. These tournaments usually start around the 1st week of July. Criteria to play -
Junior Girls Softball The Junior Girl's Softball Division is a competitive division with player ages ranging from 13 to 15 years of age. All games are played on diamonds with dirt infields and 60' bases. Players coming into the Junior Girl's Softball Division are required to go through tryouts and draft processes. Once you are drafted onto a team you will remain on that team until you are no longer eligible to play. There are approximately 2-3 teams based on the number of new players coming into the division. This division not only plays games within FLL but also plays inter-league games with Oak Creek, Greenfield, and South Milwaukee. This division usually starts play in early May and plays 14 games weather permitting. Games are played throughout the week at night and on Saturdays. Based on scheduling and rain make-ups, teams could play as little as once a week or as many as 3-4 times within a given week. Games at FLL are played on Diamond #6. There is an All Star Tournament that players can be selected to. These tournaments usually begin in early July. Criteria to play -
Major Baseball This division is designed to introduce the players to a more competitive brand of baseball and put to use the skills they have learned from the instructional leagues, such as the Minor and Rookie divisions. Major League players ages range from 9 to 12 years of age. The number of teams in the Majors fluctuates from year to year, depending on the number of new players who sign up, returning Major League players and the number of players moving up from the Minors. There are typically 12 to 14 teams in the Majors and are divided into two divisions the National League and the American League. This division usually starts at the end of April/early May and play approximately 16 games, weather permitting. All games are played throughout the week and weekends at the Franklin Little League complex. Criteria to play -
Major Girls Softball The Major Softball Division is a fast-pitch softball league which welcomes girl softball players that are ages 11 or 12. The league is comprised of teams from four communities including; Franklin, Greenfield, Oak Creek and South Milwaukee. Each year approximately four teams from Franklin will compete against nearly 20 teams from the other communities. The season begins in late April and ends in early July. It is through this eight week period that approximately 16 league games are played. Most games are played on weekday evenings and Saturdays. Home games are played at the Franklin Little League Complex. All players new to the Major Softball Division must tryout and get evaluated for the player draft. There is an All Star tournament that players can be selected to. These tournaments usually start around the 1st week of July. Criteria to play -
Minor Baseball The Minor division is a mid tier instructional division with players ages ranging from 8 to 10 years of age. Scores and standings are kept. The number of teams in the minors fluctuates from year to year, depending on the number of new players who sign up, number of players moving up from the Rookie level and returning Minor players. The Minor division is divided into two divisions National and American. At the end of the season there is a World Series game played between the winners of each division. During the course of the season each player should have the opportunity to play all positions in the field. The offensive team will use the continuous batting order for all players. The defensive team will field 9 players ( pitcher, catcher, 4 infielders and 3 outfielders). This division usually starts at the beginning of June and finishes at the end of July. The division plays approximately 16 games ( weather permitting). All games are played on week nights and Saturdays. Teams could play as few as one game per week or as many as 3-4 times with-in a given week. Criteria to play -

Players coming into the Minor Girls Softball Division are not required to go through tryouts and draft processes. There are approximately 4 teams based on the number of new players coming into the division. This division not only plays games within FLL but also plays inter-league games with Oak Creek, Greenfield, and South Milwaukee. This division usually starts play in early May and plays 12-14 games (weather permitting). Games are played throughout the week at night and on Saturdays. Rookie Baseball The Rookie Division is an instructional (noncompetitive) division for players ranging from 6 to 8 years of age. No score or standings are kept. A pitching machine is used and set to the lowest speed possible that throws the balls on a relatively flat plane. The defensive team fields 10 players. A catcher, pitcher (next to and behind the pitching machine), 4 infielders and 4 outfielders. During the course of the season each player should have the opportunity to play every position on the field. The offensive team will utilize the continuous batting order for all players. Each batter will be pitched a maximum of 5 balls for their at-bat. No balls or strikes are called and a strike out is recorded if the batter does not bat one of the 5 pitched balls into the field of play. Criteria to play -

T-Ball The Tee Ball Division is a learning and developing division with player's age being 5-7 years old. All games are played on diamonds with 60' bases and a tee from which the hitters bat. This Tee Ball Division was built as a program were youngsters can learn, develop, and practice fundamental baseball skills, such as throwing, catching, hitting, and running, at young age and receive an enjoyable experience from the game where they will return and play in future years in the older divisions. It is key for managers and coaches to reflect positive and constructive feedback to the players. The youngster has an opportunity in this division to develop hand-eye coordination and swing technique, as well as, the opportunities to develop the defensive skills necessary to play baseball. There are approximately 6-8 teams based on the number of new players coming into the division. The players are placed on the teams accordingly. There is no draft in this division. The division plays only other Franklin Tee Ball Teams. This division usually starts around the first week in June and plays approximately 16 games, weather permitting. Games are played throughout the weeknights and Saturdays. Based on scheduling and rain make-ups, teams could play as little as once a week or as many as 2 to 3 times within a given week. Games at the Franklin Little League complex are played on diamonds #1, #3 and #4. No score or standings are kept. This is an instructional division. Criteria to play -
Challenger The Challenger Division is a non-competitive division for players ages 6 and older with a variety of disabilities. No score or standings are kept and each game lasts approximately four innings. Each team only plays other Challenger Division teams. Players have physical, cognitive or emotional disabilities that might prevent or impede their play in other divisions. Players coming into the Challenger Division are not required to tryout and are assigned to a team composed of a diverse group of players with varying ages and skills. Based on their individual ability, players can develop fundamental baseball skills such as throwing, catching, hitting, running and supporting their teammates. Batters, with or without assistance, may hit from a tee or receive pitches from the opposing teams coach. Pitches are underhand and slow and will continue until the batter is able to successfully hit the ball into the field of play. Every player has the opportunity to bat in each inning. After batting, the player runs each base as the next player bats, eventually reaching home plate. A key aspect of this division is for the coaches and adult volunteers to provide positive feedback and encouragement to the players. There are two or four teams, based on the number of players signed up for each season. This division usually starts in early June and plays approximately 10 games, weather permitting, on Saturdays at Franklin Little League complex, diamond 6. Criteria to play -
