Kinda Good + FOV = Kinda Good FOV Tee

Kinda Good FOV
FOV Kinda Good Shirt

FOV in conjunction with Kinda Good are proud to present the Leonardo DaVinci/Danny Kinda Sketch Shirt featuring a newly unearthed sketch by the master Leonardo DaVinci.  The shirt depicts DaVinci's study sketch of the world's best volleyball player on the front and FOV is Kinda Good on the back.   Don't be confused by imitations as this is the authetic work and available to intellectual FOV players and fans exclusively through a marketing agreement with Kinda Good.   Give a shout out to where you play and educate the masses with this one-of-a-kind limited run shirt featuring Danny Kinda.

Gray Areas of Outdoor Volleyball Rules

AVP Bounce

This is the first in a series exploring Grey Areas of Outdoor Volleyball Rules.  The article was taken from the East End Volleyball Newsletter in 2006.

This article is about “Gray Areas” because that is what best describes the double hit rule in volleyball today. The most asked rule interpretation on the beach is

“When can you double hit the first ball over the net?”

The answer is full of gray areas. Consider that any time a ball is set, it is technically a double hit. If you used a slow-mo camera and zoomed in, how many times do you think the ball would hit both hands simultaneously? Not many. If every set was called due to a microscopic double hit the game would be very different and not much fun. The rule should really read that any double hit visible to the naked eye is a violation.
