Football News - 2010
2010 brings us to a new chapter in our Wildcat program. We will now be part of the Southwest Midget Football League.
The new divisions are:
1) Widgets: 8 to 9 year olds - up to 80lbs. (2 teams). These players will be divided up equally and placed on the Widget Black and Widget Teal teams.
2) PeeWee Teal: 10 year olds up to 90lbs
3) PeeWee Black: 11 year olds up to 100lbs
4) Lightweight Teal: 12 year olds up to 110lbs
5) Lightweight Black: 13 & 14 year olds up to 120lbs
6) Heavyweights Varsity: 13 & 14 year olds up to 170lbs
PLEASE keep in mind when buying spikes for your child that the league rules state that only molded cleats are allowed. No posted/screw-on spikes will be allowed.
PLEASE make sure your child has plenty of water to drink. Also, in the event of thunderstorms practices will be called. Please make every effort to check the weather and make the proper arrangement to pick up your child from practice.
