Frankfort Square Baseball League: 2010 Season Divisions
Playing age is determined as of 4/30/2010. Every player has the option of playing up one age level (playing down is not an option) based on the 4/30/2010 cut-off date. All new players must bring a photocopy of their birth certificate.
T-Ball
This division is for players age 5 and 6. Playing age is determined as of 4/30/10. Six-year olds have the option of playing T-Ball or Instructional. We recommend any 6-year old playing organized baseball for the first time to play T-Ball.
Instructional
For 6 yr. old players who are ready to move on from T-Ball and all 7 yr. olds. At this level coaches pitch the whole game (4 innings) the first half of the season. During the second half of the season the players pitch two innings and the coaches pitch two innings.This is a non competitive division, no score or stats are kept.
Pinto
This is an 8 yr. old only league. Players pitch the entire game. This is a non-competitive league. No score, standings or stats are kept. At season end a single elimination tournament may be held depending on field availability and league size. This league will be utilized as a training ground for our youth umpire program.
Mustang
The Mustang division is for players 9 and 10 years of age. This division keeps scores, stats and standings. At season's end a single elimination tournament may be held.
Bronco
Eleven and twelve year olds play in this division. Scores, standings and stats are kept in this division. At the end of the season, a single limination tournament may be held.
Pony
For players age 13 - 14 yrs. Play under the PONY League rules, including 80 ft. bases, 54'pitching mound.
Colt
For 15 and 16yr. olds. This league will likely play other communities. Details to be determined based on registration numbers. We will need a minimum of 15 players to form at least one team.
