Information on the Frankfort Panthers
Frankfort High School is located in Frankfort, Michigan on Lake Michigan about 40 miles southwest of Traverse City. The school has a population of 290 students in grades 7-12 and 190 in 9-12. F.H.S. is in Division 8 for football. The Panthers play in the predominantly Division 7 Northwest Conference against Manton, Mesick, Suttons Bay, Glen Lake and Kingsley. The Panthers have a proud history of football (see the history section) and are currently celebrating the 106th year of football at Frankfort. The current team is coached by Head Coach Matt Stapleton and Assistant Coaches Mike Pratley and Andrew Johnson. Head Junior Varsity Coach Michael Thompson is assisted by Cody Mallory. Junior High Head Coach is Jason Kittleson, who is assisted by Jeff Tousley and Ken Fitzhugh. Steve Kelley and Mike Wood are our filmers.
