Den 1 Parents,
It is hard to believe but it is already December and Christmas is almost here. If you attended the campout this past weekend, you may have thought that you were in the North Pole already! I know our Scouts will be excited about receiving their Polar Bear badges and it was apparent to me that the cold weather did not effect our scout's enthusiasm for being in the outdoors, although the campfire certainly seemed to be the most popular spot in camp after the sun went down. I have posted pics from the campout to the "albums" section of our website and I hope everyone enjoys taking a look.
This month we have a pack meeting on December 15th. David Hartman is going to be our guest speaker. David is the evening weatherman for one of the local channels here in Jackson and I am told that he is really good with the kids. I hope that all of our Scouts can attend this meeting.
Finally, I sent an earlier email as well regarding awards for this month. Please send me a list of all awards earned but not yet received by your scout by Thursday, December 11th. I will send out a master list of all awards to be given. If you see ANY discrepancies, please let me know ASAP so we can have awards available for the scouts Monday night.
