FOXFIRE VOLLEYBALL CLUB: Tryouts
We will have two dates for each team to tryout. The tryout fee covers both days, you do not have to be at both dates but it will help your chances and give the coaches a second chance to see your skills.
Please be sure to read this to help you make sure attend the correct try-out session. A player's date of birth-NOT the player's year in school will be the primary determining factor in the age group classifications.
17 and under: Players who were born on or after September 1st, 199216 and under: Players who were born on or after September 1st, 1993
15 and under: Players who were born on or after September 1st, 1994
14 and under: Players who were born on or after September 1st, 1995
13 and under: Players who were born on or after September 1st, 1996
Please Bring the following to tryouts: 1. 2010 Badger Region Membership Form ---please make sure the front and back of form are signed by a parent 2. 2010 USA Medical Form --check to see all parent's signatures are on the form ****Both of the forms can be found at the Badger Region Volleyball Website www.badgerregionvolleyball.org 3. $25.00 tryout fee--checks can be made out to "FoxFire VBC"
Players who have been selected by the coaches to be on the team will be notified by telephone-with the player making a commitment by Tuesday, Nov. 24th—we hope to have our teams finalized by Wed. Nov. 25th. Please do not contact us about whether your daughter has made the team—it sometimes takes the coaches longer to finalize everything.
If your daughter commits to this club we will be having a mandatory meeting on Sunday, Nov. 29th at 6:00 pm at Waterford High School to finalize all uniforms, numbers, practice times and tournament dates for the teams. A parent/guardian with the player must attend this meeting.
If you decide to play for FoxFire VBC—we expect the following from our FoxFire players:

*Always work for improvement at practices and in each game/match.

2009-2010 Tryout Schedule
NO ATHLETE will be allowed to participate in the tryouts with out the above forms on file!!! Only the parents or legal guardian can sign the forms. It is best if one of them come with you to check in.
Age and ability determine the team an athlete is able to play on. A player may play up with older players but cannot play down with younger players. We will be keeping between 9-10 players on each team.
Please come dressed appropriately for practice. Volleyballs will be provided. There will be coaches running drills along with the FoxFire coaching staff.
