Fox Lane Wrestling Club
Welcome to the Fox Lane Youth Wrestling Club Website. Join the Fox Lane Youth Wrestling team. Our Open Mat sessions offer Elementary and Middle School students the opportunity to develop folkstyle wrestling skills. Come to learn and develop: Self Discipline and Respect, Mental and Physical Toughness, Confidence, and Sportsmanship. Our objective is to provide a positive, safe, and valuable wrestling experience.
Registration for the 2008 - 2009 Wrestling Season will be held on Monday, November 24th outside the Fox Lane High School gym.

The Fox Lane Wrestling Club (a.k.a. Foxes Youth Wrestling) will begin it's tenth season on December 1st, 2008. This year, many members of the Fox Lane High School and Middle School Wrestling teams will be graduates from our feeder program. The Fox Lane Foxes Wrestling Team is inviting all interested boys and girls, regardless of experience level, to join the Elementary (2nd 3rd, 4th, 5th grade) and the Middle School (6th, 7th, 8th) grade programs. Our program is open to anyone from the Bedford Central School district.
Our Elementary and Middle School program focuses on the fundamentals of wrestling, teaches the basic moves and strategies involved with wrestling, and introduces the wrestlers to the enjoyment of one on one competition.
This year we will have one season beginning December 1, 2008 and ending on February 27th, 2009. Practices will be held on Mondays and Fridays promptly at 6:00 p.m. and end at 7:30 p.m. and are held at the Fox Lane High School unless otherwise noted. New members may request 2 night trial if they aren’t sure if they want to join.
REGISTRATION:
Registration will be held on Monday, November 24, 2008 from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Fox Lane High School gym. Fee is $160. for the season. Please make check payable to the Fox Lane Wrestling Club
Additionally, the Bedford Central School District requires all members to have a valid a USA Wrestling Membership card. The cost for the USA Wrestling Card is approximately $35.00 and will also be required for participation in practices, tournaments, wrestling meets and scrimmages. You may obtain a USA Wrestling Membership card online at the following site: http://www.themat.com/membership/
All members will be weighed when you register. Headgear and wrestling shoes are recommended, sneakers are permitted. Headgear can be purchased online. Go to the Links page to view websites to purchase youth wrestling apparel.
