Four County Little League will dedicate all of the 2009 season to Zac.  To honor him, the players will wear "ZW" on their 2009 uniforms.  As you will read, he loved baseball and Four County Little League.  For the many of us who knew him and those who did not, his memory serves as a reminder of how precious life is and how fortunate we are to be able to be a part of this great game of baseball.God bless Zac Weiland

A note from Lisa Weiland...

Zac went home to be with the Lord on February 22, 2009.  Although his life seemed short to those of us who loved him and are dealing with his loss in our lives, he had and continues to have such an incredible impact on people. 
 
Zac loved baseball.  He played with Four County Little League for over 7 years years.  It was while playing as a Yankee with Coaches Ken and Don that the "Zac Attack" was born.  It was such fun to come and watch the games!  Although he played soccer, basketball and flag football for his school, Mount Airy Christian Academy, I would have to say baseball was his favorite sport to play and watch.  As much as Zac enjoyed his sports and other activities, the thing that Zac would want you to know is that he loved his Lord more.  Zac's main purpose in his life was to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ with others so that they may also know Him as their Savior.  While many young boys aspired to be a ball player, Zac aspired to be a youth pastor.  He was not ashamed of his relationship with the Lord and professed it loudly.
 
We know that God has used Zac's life and death in a way to bring glory to Himself.  We treasure the fact that God loves Zac enough to do so.  Yes, we are saddened to be without him in this life, but we look forward with great excitement and joy to the day that we are reunited in the presence of our Savior.  Thank you for wanting to remember Zac.  His memory will live on through those that love him.
