Centralized in Mt. Airy, Maryland (MD), Four County Little League is a chartered member of Little League International. We provide a program of instructional and competitive baseball for kids ages 4 to 15. Our goal is to teach life lessons through the great sport of baseball. We are part of Maryland District 2 Little League. Our league consists of kids from Carroll, Frederick, Montomery and Howard Counties. Our players come from Woodbine, Mt. Airy, New Market, Damascus and everywhere in between. We have fields located in the heart of Mt. Airy as well as a few others located in various places inside our league boundaries. After the regular "in house" season, we compete in the Little League International Tournament. Four County Little League is a member of the Positive Coaching Alliance and teaches the Double Goal Coach and the Second Goal Parent Philosophies. This all leads to the Triple Impact Competitor. Our league is governed by our Consitiution which has been ratified by the membership and approved by Little League. League Structure
Four County Little League Baseball is comprised of numerous levels of instruction and play: T-Ball Clinic, T-Ball, Rookies, Minors "AA", Minors "AAA", Majors, Intermediate and Junior Divisions. New for 2013 is the new Intermediate 50/70 division for 11 to 13 year olds. Please click on our Divisions page to get full details of each level of play. Each year the season is outlined in our By-Laws which is rafitied by the Board of Directors during the winter months. Four County Little League is open to all children between the ages of 4 and 15. A player's age is based on the Little League International age cutoff. The league is open to players who live within the established physical boundaries, subject to adherence to established rules and required parental support. In addition, player candidates must have parental or legal guardian consent.
League Operations
Four County Little League is an all-volunteer league. Many parents devote their personal time to support and operate the league. Help is always needed - if you are interested in volunteering some time, please contact volunteer@fcllbaseball.org
