RAFFLE TICKETS ARE DUE JUNE 1, 2012. PLEASE TURN YOUR TICKETS INTO YOUR TEAM MANAGER/COACH OR THE SHACK. 

*LITTLE LEAGUE BASEBALL BATS ARE BEING CHECKED/INSPECTED AT RANDOM THIS YEAR, BEFORE YOU GO OUT TO BUY A NEW BAT PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU CHECK THE LIST. THE LINK ABOVE WILL HELP YOU FIND OUT WHAT IS OR IS NOT ACCEPTABLE! IF YOUR BAT IS NOT TO SPECIFICATION YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO USE IT IN THE GAME!!!*

 IMPORTANT INFO: Dogs are not allowed at FLL, this is a Board of Education rule.  Please be cooperative regarding the no parking up by shack rule, THIS INCLUDES PARKING IN FRONT OF THE CONES, this will be enforced throughout the season, anyone parking up there and refusing to move can be towed, if it continues to be a problem FLL will be forced to close the gate and all will have to park on the street, this is for the safety of your children! Also, parents, coaches and managers, please remember NO ONE is allowed on the field or in the dug out without a volunteer application on file. We encourage parents to complete the application so they may help when needed, this is for safety, legal and insurance purposes. The application can be found under handouts on the web site.

Forestville Little League will be marching in the Memorial Day Parade, the parade starts at the corners of Todd Street and Broad Street this year, FLL will meet behind Crowley Kia at 11:15, get organized and walk together to the starting place. Please keep in mind that there will be road closures, plan ahead on getting to Crowley Kia. It will most likely be a hot day, bring drinks, wear hats and your FLL uniforms.

EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATLEY:FLL IS ASKING THAT NO ONE PARK THEIR VEHICLES UP IN THE SHACK AREA, THERE ARE TOO MANY CHILDREN RUNNING AROUND AND IF THERE IS AN EMERGENCY AN AMBULANCE WOULD NOT BE ABLE TO TURN AROUND! THIS IS FOR ALL GAMES AND PRACTICES!!!

*We are trying to get an idea of how many parents would be interested in a bus trip to the casino. The cost would be in the ballpark of $30-$40 per person. This will include the bus fair, $15 food voucher and $15 betting voucher. Please email me at jmarrotti@yahoo.com if you would be interested.

SHACK NEWS:

The shack has received some new equiptment donated by connections of Steve Adkins in the restaraunt business, a local business offered to sell us 2 used friolaters for $125.00, they are used but newer and better than the ones we have now, the board voted in favor of the purchase. We need and are seeking an insurance company to come out and inspect all the kitchen equiptment, fire extinguishers etc... for safety purposes.

The new and improved shack is coming along! Mike Bibisi is putting in A LOT of time and effort to make the shack successful this coming season. Donations of any kind are being accepted! Anyone wishing to donate items such as water or Gatorade bottles should contact Mike Bibisi. Any cash donations can go to Shiela Beebe!

On Oct. 3 Forestville Little League had our Last meeting of the year before a new Board is voted in . On this  Meetings Agenda was the Future of FLL. The Board Voted in Favor for keeping FLL.

This meeting needs all our volunteers in the League to participate. If you volunteered your time than you can vote on who are the New Board Members for 2012.

Our Bathroom sewer pipes need to be replaced.We need 200' feet of sewer pipe. We will be able to get Labor and equipment donated to get pipe replaced. The Cost of the pipe will be expensive. If anyone has a resource to get the pipe donated or discounted would help.
