November 1-7 is Ringette Week in Canada
November 1, 2009 – Ringette Week will take place from November 1-7, 2009 and Ringette Canada is encouraging the entire ringette community to celebrate our great sport. November 3rd will be ‘Wear Your Jersey’ Day and there will be a number of contests to encourage everyone to get involved. Contests include: a photo contest, a creative practice drill contest, and an officiating contest. Full details can be found on http://www.ringette.ca/Content/Ringette Week.asp?langid=1.
Ringette was invented in 1963 in North Bay, Ontario and currently has nearly 28,000 athletes playing on approximately 2,300 teams across the country. Ringette athletes are noted for their speed, strength, stamina, balance, timing and precision, and their overall sense of camaraderie makes for a dynamic ringette community wherever the sport is played.

Forest Xtreme Ringette Players, Coaches and Families:

The Kaeden Brown Foundation is hosting a night with the Lambton Shores Predators on November 14th at the Lambton Shores Recreation Center. The Predators will be taking on LaSalle. We invite all of Kaeden’s fellow hockey players and families to come out and help support the foundation.  The event promises a plethora of emotions from the Brown Family, from friends and from our compassionate community.  The festivities start at 7:30pm and it will be a packed house so please come early.

We will have lots of prizes, draws and silent auction merchandise for you to bid on and support our foundation.I am asking that you all come out and support our event to help us raise funds for the Kaeden Brown Foundation which will in turn fund a yearly scholarship out of North Lambton Secondary School. Ticket Prices are as follows: $ 7.00 for adults $ 5.00 for seniors and students $ 3.00 for children under 12
