Due to the large increase of enrollment that we had for the 2009 Little League Season, this may be the only registration we have and will be forced to close out registration early for the 2010 season.
Therefore, it is highly recommended that you register during the first enrollment period on Friday, October 30 or Saturday, October 31 for a guaranteed spot for the 2010 season.
This year, enrollment will be based on a first come, first served basis regardless of how many years you have played in the past.
THERE WILL BE NO EXCEPTIONS.
|
** IMPORTANT ** Girls Softball Registration Information
By this months end we will have our first registration for Softball 2010. The dates will be October 30th at 7pm to 9pm and 31st 9am till noon.
We are planning to divide the gals divisions by age this year NOT by grade. This is to follow official softball leagues through out the county AND in accordance with official softball rules of Little League. That said - we are still working on how the divisions will be seperated but would like everyone to come prepared for this possible decision.
The age breakdown according to official softball rules are below. Therfore every parent must bring a copy of your childs birth certificate for our files. We will also be measuring for uniforms at registration so therfore unlike previous years please bring your child and or be prepared to give us their sizes at that time.
ALL PLAYERS MUST REGISTER WITH A COPY OF THEIR BIRTH CERTIFICATE FOR OUR FILES - NO EXCEPTIONS !!!
Regards,
J.R.

2009 FH Little League Opening Day Pictures - April 4th
 |
|
| Congressman Anthony Weiner with FHLL youngsters
|
|
 |
Opening Day for the 2009 Forest Hills Little League season was a great success and a bit chilly too. The day started with early morning Tee and Lob-ball games followed by our traditional opening day ceremonies lead by J.R. Nocerino. The Continental Post Color Guard marched onto the field where several young players read the little league pledge followed by the Star-Spangled Banner. J.R. introduced the FHLL board members and league officials before giving special thanks to Tom Brennan and his crew for installing lights on fields 1, 2 & 3 for night-time play and the all clay infield for girls' softball with a new scoreboard on field 3.
Our special guest, Congressman Anthony Weiner was invited to throw out the traditional first-pitch after talking to the crowd and wishing our young players a great 2009 season. Everyone then yelled PLAY BALL!!!
