Registration fees include uniforms, a basic photo package (4 wallets and a team photo) and the 2010 Foothill hoodie sweatshirt.

We accept checks and cash only. Please makes checks payable to "Foothill League".

***   Late registration fees add additional $25 per player after January 9, 2010.

***   Any player selected to a post season Tournament Team will be required to pay an additional $25 tournament team fee and a $50 refundable uniform fee ( to be returned upon the end of the tournament and when the uniform is returned).   

Please note that the Foothill League is a 100% volunteer league. Fees go directly for uniforms, equipment, insurance, umpires fees and other expenses to operate the league.

League Eligibility

All boys and girls (ages 5-14) who reside within the the Foothill boundary are eligible to play. For boys, their "league" age is determined by how old they are on April 30, 2010. For girls, its December 31, 2009.

Our boundary includes zipcodes 91208, 91207, 91206, 91205 and is supported by players from local area schools including: Verdugo Woodlands, Glenoaks, RD White, Marshall Elementary and Wilson Middle School. We also have a large contingency of private school children.

Training League
Training Division is a co-ed developmental division for boys and girls 6 and under. Emphasis is on learning the enjoyment of baseball (team sports).

Competitive Tee Ball - Coach Pitch
in 2010, the Competitive Teeball / Coach Pitch division takes the place of our former Coach Pitch Division. This division is a baseball division for youths 7&8 years of age. The emphasis in this division is to learn the fundamentals of the game with a strong focus on the defensive skills of baseball. Players will hit off of a batting tee the majority of the season (at least 60% of all games). The other 40%, a coach will pitch to the batter.   

Minor Baseball
Minor baseball is for youths 9-12 years of age. This is the division where competition increases dramatically and players continue to improve their skills. Players who have attained the age of 8 years old are eligble to play at this level upon demonstating their ability to do so at tryouts AND being drafted by a minor team. Players will face live pitching from opposing players in the league and can face speeds of 40 - 55 miles an hour regularly.

Major Baseball
Major baseball is the division that most people are familiar with. It is from this division that players/teams compete for the Little League World Series. It is primarily for players 11 & 12 years of age. Players that are 11 years and who have not been selected to a major team previously must try out and only if selected at the draft, will play at this level. Players having reached the age of 10 may play within this division if approved by the Board of Directors granted permission by their parents, and have been drafted to this division by one of the teams.

Junior Baseball
Junior baseball is for youths ages 13 & 14. This division is highly competitive where players make the jump to 90 foot bases (professional dimensions). Continued emaphasis is improving fundamentals and preparing players for the high school level.
