Information:

We are having our 4th Annual Lone Oak Jamboree located in Paducah Kentucky on August 7th and 8th starting at 5:00 P.M. each night. Friday Night will showcase the smaller 1A and 2A schools while Saturday will showcase the larger schools. Last year we had 12 teams for the two nights with teams coming from 4 different states. This jamboree is for 8th grade teams but you can bring your 7th grade and we will try to fit in a game or two with other 7th grade teams. We will take the first 6 teams that commit each night so get in touch with me as soon as you can.

The format is two teams playing each other on one side of the 50 yard line and each team will play 12 continuous minutes on offense and 12 continuous minutes of defense then on to the next game or rest for 30 minutes. You would not play more than 2 games in a row without a 30 minute rest and you can play as many a five games if you chose. Coaches can be on the field at all times and you can take your 12 minutes of offense as slow as you want. We do not do any special teams and we do not keep score. There is no cost to participate and I will be glad to answer any questions you might have.
