Coaching Points
A. Posture
- Feet slightly wider than shoulder width.
- Toe to toe relationship with feet.
- Work on insteps.
- Weight balanced evenly.
- Knees bent and inside ankles. Sink hips.
- Head and shoulders back.
- Back arched.
- Chin out, head up, eyes open.
B. Shuffle Step
- Allows you to maintain base. Do not over step. Work short quick steps.
- Keep foot separation.
- Keep shoulders square.
C. Hands
- Punch, Short 6" jab. Keep separation.
- Cover defender up with feet don not reach for him.
