Unofficial MAC football report

Here is the first report on MAC football for 2009.

In non-conference play, the MAC has seven wins vs D1A opponents and has lost 31 games and are being outscored by almost 12 points per game. Included in these 31 losses are two losses to D1AA teams.

No MAC team is above .500 in non-conference play and no MAC team has outscored it's non-conference opponents for combined total points scored for and against.

The seven D1A teams the MAC has beat are a combined 8 wins and 23 losses. Only one of these teams has outscored their opponents in points for/against and that is by a total of three point in five games. That team is 1-4.
