Fluvanna Girls Softball League: 2013 Season Divisions
Girls between the ages of 11-12 will be taught fundamentals, the importance of being part of a team, and good sportsmanship. The girls at this point will start stealing bases and learning how to play school ball.
Belles
Girls between the ages of 13-15 learn fundamentals and how to play fastpitch softball. All aspects of the game are incorporated at this level. Drop third strike, and stealing after the pitch has left the hand of the pitcher. Fundamentals and good sportsmanship are still reinforced at this level.
Darlings
Darlings is our Coach Pitch league. Ages range from 5-8. All players will get five pitches or three strikes to hit the ball. The Darlings is a great place for girls beginning to play softball. Fundamentals and being a good sport are taught at this level
Angels
Angels will give your daughter the basic knowledge of how the game of softball is played. Girls ages 8 and 9 will pitch to each other with a 10 run per inning limit. Fundamentals and being a good sport will be taught at this age.
Debs
Fastpitch softball for girls ages 16-18.
