** Umpires eligable to renew without attending the clinic can now print the test and application. DEADLINE TO SUBMIT IS APRIL 1 OF THE CURRENT YEAR. Click on the handout at the bottom of the page for forms*

Registration will be at 8:30 with the clinic to start approximately at 9am and run to 3pm.  The cost will be $30 and this will include lunch, test, your patch and instruction from 2 Pro Umpires.  There will be hats for sale as well but quantities are limited. 

Please bring with you your face mask and rule book if you have them.  For more information please contact Sam Rudd at 863-712-1562.  Any leagues wishing to help Sam offset his clinic cost through a donation would be greatly appreciated.  Please remember that this year we're requiring all umpires to be certified in order to umpire a district game.                                                                                                                                                                                                 The board has assisted Sam  in the development of an umpire certification program and only certified umpires will officiate in State Tournaments beginning in the 2009 tournament season.Clinics will be conducted throughout the state with a certification fee of $30 this will include an official patch that will be worn during tournament play. 

** New for 2012 Umpires certified through a clinic in 2012 will have the option in 2013 to renew without taking a clinic.**

The board strongly recommends umpire certification requirements for District tournament play as well.

It is mandatory for all umpires in any Dixie Youth State Tournament to be certified.  Many districts and leagues are also requiring umpires to be certified to umpire local league play and district tournaments.
