Well it took a few extra days, but the LLBB Division is finished and we have a winner.  On Tuesday evening, the Ft Pierce LLBB team (pool winner) started a best of three (3) tournament against Martin County North LLBB team.  Tuesday night, Port St Lucie National, the host, lost a total fourteen baseballs.  Six (6) of those were home runs, five (5) for Ft Pierce and one (1) for Martin County North.  Ft Pierce came away winning game one (1) by a score of 8-2.  Martin County knew what they had to do.  On Wednesday, game two (2), Martin County drew first blood, but alas it was not meant to be for them.  Ft Pierce won game two, again with one (1) home run a two (2) run shot by J. Allen, which assisted the team to win by a score of 3-1.  Ft Pierce now will represent the District in Section II tournament on the 25th of July.  The Tournament is in Brevard County and the schedule is listed under the Section II tab on the left side of the main page of the District Web site.  Get on out and root them on to victory.

The District has finished all District Level tournaments.  The District now hosts the 9-10 BB and 9-10 SB Section Tournaments @ Martin County North and Port St Lucie National, respectively.  The District teams can always use our moral support and rooting as well as we can always use an extra hand if you are available or willing.  Hope to see a good many of you at the games, schedules are posted for this Saturday and next Saturday when we host the  JLBB and LLSB tournaments at Port St Lucie National.

The District and Ft Pierce LL  won the JLSB Section Tournament.  The 9-10 LLSB and SLSB came in second.  The 9-10 BB, 10-11 BB, 50-70 Intermediate and SLBB teams all went one (1) and (1) in Section, but did not advance.  Our BLBB team played in the Florida State Tournament and finished third out of five (5).  This weekend the District is hosting the JLBB and LLSB Section Tournaments at PSLN LL @ Sportsmans Park.  Come on out and root for our teams.
