Florida District 17: Welcome
Welcome to Florida District 17 Little League. We are proud to serve 14 Leagues in Indian River, St Lucie, Martin and Okeechobee counties. We also are proud to serve the Challenger Program. Florida District 17 now truly has something for every child. If we can be of service to you, please contact any of the District 17 Staff.
Thursday, January 19
There will be a District wide Safety clinic for those of you who have not scheduled a clinic or for those managers and coaches that miss your leagues clinic. This is a requirement that you must meet to have your safety plans approved. It will be at the Ft.Pierce Community Center. If you have any questions please contact any District staff member and we will be glad to help you.

THE PRESIDENTS MEETING FOR THE MONTH OF FEBRUARY WILL BE MOVED TO MONDAY THE 13TH @ 7 PM. THE CHANGE WILL ALLOW THOSE PRESIDENTS TO SPEND THE 14TH WITH THEIR FAMILY MEMBERS.
Tuesday, January 10
There will be a meeting to discuss the number of teams and players for Interleague on Tuesday January 24, 2012 @ 7:00pm at Sportsman Park. It is extremley important that your league is represented at this meeting. We will review and fill out all necessay documents and get President signatures for the upcoming 2012 season.

We would like to thank everyone that attended the training clinics that we have had the past few weeks. The turn out at each meeting was good and we had great discussions with those who attended. Please remember that if you or your board has any questions or concerns to get in touch with any District staff member and we will be glad to help you.

We have uploaded a spreadsheet of those leagues and people who have attended the District wide training clinics that we have been presenting the past few weeks. These clinics are very informative and we are trying to help you and your leagues run as smoothly as possible. If their is anyone who is interested in having a Board of Directors training clinic please contact any staff member and we will be glad to help you. This form can be found in the handout section under Training Clinics.
