Athletic Training for 14's - 18's
Brian Blackwell of Big Time Athletic Developement will be training Flatirons athletes for the 2006 season. Brian holds a Master's degree in Kinesiology, he's a certified athletic trainer and he's a CSCS: a certified conditioning specialist. Brian has been an athletic trainer for over 20 years, spending 5 of them at the University of Colorado as a trainer for the football and basketball teams.
The 14's through 18's teams will visit the Big Time Athletic Development facility in East Boulder as a group to receive training. After they become proficient, alternative times may be scheduled to allow a better fit with your schedule.
Brian will train Flatirons athletes to become quicker players who can jump higher and explode with increased strength. This training is included in your fees - no additional cost to you.
It includes one visit per week. Should you choose to accelerate your training by attending more than one time a week, Brian will arrange additional sessions at a discounted price.
This is an opportunity to become the best player you can be, reduce your chance of injury and increase your strength and agility.
Please visit Brian Blackwell's website at: www.bigtimeathleticdevelopment.com

Frequently asked questions about online registration
Frequently asked questions regarding the online system:

Question:       I don’t know where to begin the online registration process.

Answer:         Individuals should go to the RMR web site rmrvolleyball.org, then press on “Membership”. Scroll down to find two boxes: Renewing is the left box and New is the right box. If you were a member of the Rocky Mountain Region last year, then you are a renewing member this year.

Question:       I don't remember my username and password.

Answer:         You will receive an email from USA Volleyball with your user name and password. If you have not received this email by October 2nd, 2007, check your Spam or Junk Mail folder for the email. If you still did not receive the email, inform your club director at flatironsvbc@aol.com.

Question:       I forgot to print out proof of my online registration.

Answer:         Not a problem. The individual will need to login to the online system and go to “My Information”, then “Membership Info”, the second blue line is “Membership History”, right below this there you will see a “!” followed by a box that looks like a form, press on the box. From there it will bring up the “Membership Confirmation” page, scroll down to the bottom and hit “Waiver & Release”, the next step is to press the “Print” prompt at the top right hand corner”. You can then close out of that window. Follow the above steps to print the Medical Release Form and New Player Information Form (aka Player Intent Form).

Question:       My club information is wrong on the Waiver & Release Form.

Answer:         This is not a problem. Cross out the Club Affiliation and write in the Club Name. The RMR Office will associate the individual with the club once the rosters are submitted to the office.

Questions?
There are often questions that arise during the season. To help you find a quick answer, consult the Resource Directory in the Parent Handbook. It's towards the back of the Parent Handbook.
If you don't find an answer, email Susan at flatironsvbc@aol.com
Phone: (303) 543-7605

By directive from the Rocky Mountain Region, calls from parents are prohibited at any time; for any reason. If you have a question you'd like addressed by the Region, call Director Susan at the above number.
