What Should I Do If I think There Is Bad Weather On Game Day?
Should the weather be questionable on Game Day, you should check with your coaches. The League tries to make a call 2 hours before a game as to whether the game will be played or not. The decision is made between the opposing coaches and the referees. If a game is on a week night, you should plan to arrive at the scheduled time as the decision will be made on site.

In Memory of Dave Berger
The CYO Flag Football League would like remember one of our Board members, David E. Berger, who passed away Friday, May 12, 2006.
Dave was a good friend and enthusiastic advocate for children, fairness and our football program. He will be missed by many and your thoughts and prayers will certainly be appreciated. To celebrate Dave's life, one needs to know a bit about him. Please see the wonderful remembrance of him below, as it appeared in the Morning Call this past Sunday.
David E. Berger, 49, of Bethlehem Township, died Friday evening in St. Lukes Hospital, Fountain Hill. David and his wife, Patricia (Hammond) Berger, celebrated their 10th wedding anniversary last September. Born in Kingston, Pa. he was the son of Glenmore and Florence (Lagoski) Berger of Blandon, Pa. David worked for ATT as a project manager for the past 23 years. He was an active member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, Bethlehem Township, where he was the co-ordinator of the parish flag football program. He loved coaching and was a coach for the Connie Mack Division of the FBTAA. A graduate and athlete at Hillsboro (N.J.) High School, he was a record holder with the high school baseball team for the most strikeouts in a game. He also excelled in football. He also graduated from Tarkio College, Tarkio Miss., where he played football and baseball and was later recruited by Bill Parcells of the New York Giants football team. He played minor league baseball as a pitcher with AAA league in New Jersey. Survivors: Surviving with his wife and parents are his daughters, Joanne Florence and Mary Elizabeth, both at home. He also is survived by two sisters, Donna Berger of Hamilton Square, N.J., Michele, wife of David Fisher, of Bloomsbury, N.J.; five nieces and two nephews. Services: Mass Of Christian Burial, will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, May 17 in Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, 3219 Santee Road, Bethlehem, Pa. Visitation will be from 7-9 p.m. on Tuesday in the Connell Funeral Home Inc., 245 E. Broad Street, Bethlehem, Pa. Condolences t www.connellfuneral.com. Contributions: May be made to help Adam Recke.
