WOW! THANK YOU...
What an outstanding response we have this year… We have more players and teams since our first year as Cal Ripken. Thank you for joining the fastest growing youth baseball organization in America. We are excited about the new changes that we have implemented, giving more players the opportunity to excel in different levels of play.
Teams have been assigned and you will get calls this week from your coaches. Thanks again for being part of FCYB!
See you on the field…
HEAVY HEARTS AT FCYB
It is with much sadness and heavy hearts that we honor the passing of our beloved friend, colleague, board-member, coach and teacher… Connie Harris. All of us in the community, whether you knew Connie or not, felt his impact on youth sports especially baseball and softball. Connie loved the game and the kids. He dedicated countless hours to organizations throughout the Central Coast. Connie will be missed more than words can express. To his wife, children and family; our thoughts and prayers are with you.

What parents, coaches and players are saying about FCYB and Cal Ripken...
"My favorite part is leading off base and stealing like the pros" Mason A. Grover Beach, Player

"What a great family environment, we had a wonderful experience and we will be back, love the program!” Stephen A., Pismo Beach, Parent

"Personally my finest experience in baseball—ever! The greatest people and a fantastic organization.” Ernie. P., Arroyo Grande, Parent and Coach
"To the board members, coaches and all the volunteers of the Five Cities Youth baseball program, I applaud your efforts and commend you for a great season of baseball. The Cal Ripken program emphasizes the correct way to play the sport (the way I was taught when I played competitive ball), the program fosters an environment for growth and encourages participants to become better players; as this occurs they develop a love and appreciation for the game. I personally believe sporting programs should go far beyond a simple game and should teach kids discipline, responsibility, accountability, achievement, build self esteem and reward for their efforts, and I believe these are the characteristics of good, decent, healthy and trustworthy citizens. The Cal Ripken program exemplifies these characteristics and I am grateful to have been a part of the league. I look forward to the upcoming year with much excitement." Jeremy G., Arroyo Grande, Parent and Coach
"My experience with Cal Ripken was great because of the awesome coaches." Juan J., Arroyo Grande, Player
