Fishers-HSE Youth Recreational Cheerleading: Divisions

Our Recreational Cheer Program consists of our junior girls (K-3rd grade) and our senior girls (4th-6th grade).

We do provide a Special Request form that is part of your daughter's registration. She may request to cheer for....

-her brother playing in tackle football grades 4-6

-the team her father is coaching (grades 4-6 tackle football)

-with one friend who each request each other...no chains...you must request each other on the form

-with a group of friends if mom is willing to step up and coach a squad.

After we honor all of these requests.....we do our best to keep the girls grouped together by grade and school during the draft. This is not always possible. Our squads are decided after football has its draft the first week in August.  We have no say in how football drafts its team. This is why we must wait until after the draft to put our cheer squads together honoring requests.

NOTE: We cannot honor any requests from our girls to cheer together if both girls have brothers playing football. UNLESS....you get lucky and the boys are drafted to the same football team.

Junior age girls will practice from 5:45-6:45 pm on Tuesdays at Cumberland Rd Elementary School.

Senior age  girls will practice from 6:00-7:00 pm on Tuesdays at Cumberland Rd Elementary School.

The school has a large field behind the school we use for cheer practice.

EXCEPTIONS: Sometimes the draft will mix younger girls with older girls due to a brother/football request.  The Cheer Board will contact each of you personally if your practice time shoud differ from the times listed above. It is rare, but can happen to due to the draft.

ALL STARS

The All Star program is open to any cheerleader in grade 3 or higher that has been is our program 2 or more years.  We do limit the number to the first 40 that sign up for the program.

All Stars will learn routines to music along with our sideline cheers.  They will have a different uniform and pom poms.

SPECIAL REQUESTS: All Star cheerleaders can only request to be placed with another cheerleader signed up for the All Star program. We cannot accept any request to cheer for a brother playing football. Our All Star squads are placed with football teams that have had no requests for any player or dad coaching.  This must be done as to not mix the rec and All Star cheerleaders during the formation of our squads during the draft.
