WELCOME to First String "A Community Team," Inc.!

Congratulations to Creative Marble for their win against Kuhns in tonight's Final Four game of the Twin City Tournament. With a win of 6 to 2, Creative Marble will go on to play for the Championship tomorrow night at 8pm at Zahnd Park. This team, led by an outstanding coaching staff, which includes Coach Reggie Jones, Coach Shawn "Bundy" Green, and Coach Jewel White, came out in tonight's game on fire and did not let up. We are very proud of them!! We invite all who can to come out tomorrow evening to help cheer them on. First String, Inc.'s fans are the best and we would love your support at tomorrow evening's championship game. Help us push this awesome group of players to victory!

Go Creative Marble!!

REMINDER: As I am sure your coaches have already informed you, this Saturday First String, Inc. will be hosting our end-of-the-season picnic. This is the time when we acknowledge the commitment of our players and celebrate all of their achievements. The picnic will, of course, be held at McFarland Field from 11:00am to 3:00pm and is free to all First String players, coaches, parents and siblings. Food is provided by First String, so the only thing you need to bring is your appetite :). During this picnic you will be given the opportunity to sign-up for the annual White Sox game which will take place July 23rd. A copy of the flyer and permission slip is attached to this announcement, youth the age of 8 or younger must be accompanied by an adult. Tickets are $35 each and lunch will be provided by First String. Funds must be paid in advance in order for us to determine seating availability, so we ask that all interested parties have permission slips and money submitted to Peter McFarland or John Cooper no later than July 19th. Contact information for both gentlemen is noted on the attached flyer. Please adhere to the instructions given.

Coming soon will be an evaluation form that we invite you to complete. The form will ask all parents/guardians to assess First String on registration, program operations, and communication with coaches and administration. Forms can be submitted anonymously by printing them out and mailing them in; otherwise, forms can be submitted via email. Forms and details will be provided soon.

Thank you,

 Imani Carr
