Recently Gavin williams was invited to attend a one day camp at the University of Tennessee. At the camp Gavin showed why he is a lockdown corner and ranks among the top of his class of 2011. While participating in one on ones legendary coach Marty Kiffin noticed Gavin's skills and payed close attention on several of his reps. This camp was full of elite talent from across the nation and Gavin was able to catch the eye of SEC All American UT football player Eric Berry #14. Eric was participating in his teams conditioning and during a break called Gavin over and said "you didnt know I was watching you how did missed that pick I would have got that one over there in the endzone if you want to play in the SEC you got to make that play". Gavin was shocked and amazed that Eric even noticed. Eric also explained to Gavin that someone is working while I'm standing here you have to work work work to even be considered you have what it takes don't stop working and you opportunity will come. At the camps end Gavin explained that the UT has great people and he could see himself attending school at the University of Tennessee.

Initial Phase Camp 8am - 2pm on June 26 Dre Bly Field Scout.com will be in attendance
Evaluation and Assesment - Physical testing and goal development testing includes an attitude evaluation are you coachable? How well you catch the football, route running skills, and blocking. Physical core strength and balance will also be assesed in the initial phase of the program.
Goal development - What are your goals? To start on varsity or led the country in receptions and yards? Play on a d1 level. Whatever your gaol is this phase will help us create the coorrect path to get you there through proper teaching and preparation.
Development Phase
Skill development will consist of video training of you in action, on the field drills and classwork. This phase will also develop pass catching, route running, getting wide open, proper stance and line of scimmage releases and blocking.

Anthony Stringfield with Norfolk Mayor Paul Friam as he flips the coin at Nighthawks 2000 season opener at the scope. Nighthawks finished the season 11-6 and one game away from the Arena Cup championship game. Stringfield led the leauge with 15.9 yards per catch.

Shoe selection can be a great help in achieving that extra 2 tenths in the 40 and in the short shuttle here's my suggestions on what shoe to wear on testing day.
Shoe Surface Purpose
# 1 Nike Zoom Training (astro turf or field turf) heavy great for position drills on turf.
# 2 Zoom waffle (astro turf or track) light great for shuttle, vertical jump or 40 on turf.
# 3 Asics track spike ( track ) light great for 40 on the track .
# 4 Nike waffle flat ( astro turf or track) very light for vertical jump or 40 on track.
# 5 Speed TD 3 or Vapor ( grass or field turf) light great for 40 or short shuttle
