The Donnie Naugle Scholarship Fund was established in 1991 after the death of Donnie on July 7, 1991. Donnie was the goalie for the 1983 Findlay High School State Championship Hockey Team. He started playing hockey at the age of 5 and played in the first game ever played at the then HRC. Donnie won many awards along the way and the Scholarship Fund is one way for his family to give back to FAHA.
The fund is intended for families who need some financial help to pay ice fees. These funds are presented to FAHA each Thanksgiving weekend during the Donnie Naugle Memorial Tournament at a memorial ceremony on Saturday afternoon.
