Tee Ball is for boys and girls 5 - 6 years old who want to learn the fundamentals of hitting and fielding. In Tee Ball, players hit a ball off a batting tee. Rules of the game may be varied to accommodate the need for teaching at this level. The primary goals of Tee Ball are to instruct children in the fundamentals of baseball and to allow them to experience the value of teamwork. Rosters may be composed of between 10 and 12 players. No kid pitching is permitted in this division.
Players need to be FIVE years of age by April 30, 2009. No exceptions.
Players may not advance to the Single A divison unless they are 7, or are 6 with one prior year of Tee Ball.
The 2009 Tee Ball season will not begin until about the end of March, with games beginning mid-April. You will not be contacted by your Manager until that time. All of the other divisions will already be playing games by the time Tee Ball begins - so don't panic! We have not forgotton you!
