FHYAA Bulletin - Fundraising Committee Meeting
To: Parents, Friends, Coaches and Community Members
The Forest Hills Youth Athletic Association has been working hard to improve the conditions of our beloved fields and surrounding grounds. In order to continue in our efforts we are planning to embark on several fundraising events.
Please join us with your ideas and help to form our fundraising committee for the year 2010!

FINAL 2010 Little League Baseball, Tee/Lob-Ball, Pony and Girls' Softball Registration

Forest Hills Little League, Tee-Ball, Pony and Girls' Softball Registration will take place on the following day(s) at FHYAA Headquarters, 66-01 Fleet Street, corner of Selfridge & Groton Streets (one block from Yellowstone Boulevard) adjacent to the Little League Baseball Fields. Due to limited facilities of playing fields, registrants will be accepted on a first come, first serve basis. For further information phone 718-544-2296.

Saturday, December 5, 2009 (9:00AM to 1:00PM)
no applications will be accepted after this date !!!!
Registration Fees:
Little League (Ages 5-12) $150
Pony League (Ages 13-17) $185
Girls Softball (Ages 9-16) $120
Fees includes all expenses. Registrant must appear in person with a parent or guardian who must present the registrant's birth certificate or certified record of date of birth. A $10 reduction for each additional sibling will be honored. Payment of the registration fee MUST be made at registration and may be in cash or check made payable to FOREST HILLS LITTLE LEAGUE. SIGN UP NOW.... DON'T GET SHUTOUT.... DO NOT WAIT! Download and print the FHLL Player Registration Form.

Due to the large increase of enrollment that we had for the 2009 Little League Season, this may be the only registration we have and will be forced to close out registration early for the 2010 season.
Therefore, it is highly recommended that you register during the first enrollment period on Friday, October 30 or Saturday, October 31 for a guaranteed spot for the 2010 season.
This year, enrollment will be based on a first come, first served basis regardless of how many years you have played in the past.
THERE WILL BE NO EXCEPTIONS.

Soccer Photos are now Available!!
Coaches should pickup their team's photos at the FHYAA Clubhouse any day between 1pm and 5pm. All leftover photos will be available at the awards ceremony.
Posting of Game Scores, Standings & Schedules
Game scores are posted as soon as they are receive from league officials.
The following information is displayed on the Standings page for each division:
GP-Games Played; W-Wins; L-Losses; T-Ties
PTS-Points earned (Win=3 Loss=0 Tie=1 Shutout=0)
Gave-Avg Goals per game; GF-Goals For; GA-Goals Against; SO-Shutouts

Important News for Parents
League Officials have asked that every player wear their league-issued uniform.
Please make every effort to have your child at the field 20-30 minutes before each game to stretch with the team.
If during the game your child needs to leave the field, please notify one of the coaches.
Please make sure that your child's name or initials or written on their equipment (i.e water bottle, clothing...).
Please feel free to ask any of the coaches for assistance or advice, we love to talk.
If your child is unable to make a game or practice, please notify any coach within a reasonable amount of time.
