2009-10 Basketball Season Schedule is NOW ONLINE
Welcome back to another season of Forest Hills Basketball. The Official 2009-10 Forest Hills Basketball League Schedule is now available online for the following divisions:
Parents should received a paper copy of this year's schedule from their team coach. Please check this site often for schedule changes, team standings and other important information.
3rd Annual FHYAA Dinner Dance - 10/30/2010
FH Basketball Basic Training Sessions
Basketball Basic Training sessions will be held on the following Saturdays:
- October 24, 31
- November 7, 14, 21
- December 5, 12, 19
- January 9, 16, 23, 30
- Feb 6 (Closing Ceremony and Graduation)
Keep this schedule in a safe place since there will be no further communication from the league before the season starts. Please do not expect a phone call telling you when the first session will start – this is your official notification!
All children will be provided with a team shirt and shorts that must be worn at each session. Parents must provide their child with basketball sneakers (no tennis sneakers, no shoes, no sandals, no cleats). It is the parent’s responsibility to make sure your child is properly dressed for basketball. Be advised that the League does not provide transportation and every child’s parent or guardian must stay in the gym during your child’s session. Parents should NOT regard this basketball program as a babysitting service.
WE ENCOURAGE PARENTAL INVOLVEMENT IN THIS CLINIC. COACHES WILL ASK PARENTS TO HELP KEEP THE CHILDREN INVOLVED, FOCUSED AND PARTICIPATING.
If you have a younger child that you will be bringing to the gymnasium, please be sure to keep an eye on them for their own safety. We will provide a junior size basketball hoop in a gym corner for your younger child to play with but parents must keep younger children off the basketball court. You can also bring their favorite game or toy to keep them busy.
