Four Corners Youth Soccer League: Welcome
Providing the game of soccer to youth, ages 4-19, in the Four Corners area of New Mexico, including Aztec, Bloomfield, Farmington, and Kirtland.
Our programs include outdoor recreational and competitive team play in the fall and spring.
All programs are focused on the recreational aspects, with fun and learning a key element. Competitive team and player development have special priorities within the scope of the FCYSL.
Beginning in the Fall of 2005, FCYSL began playing Small Sided Games, in accordance with recommendations of USYS and NMYSA. The current Modified Rules are posted under the Handouts section. Coaches are expected to know and understand these rules, in order to better teach the players about them.

The Spring 2013 Schedules are LIVE!!!!
Although every effort has been made to double and triple check these schedules, by hand, as always, there is room for "errors" or possible game conflicts for coaches with multiple teams. Everything was done to try to prevent this, including some adjustments in the schedule prior to this release. If there are still problems pertaining to the schedule, the FCYSL Scheduler will respond to any e-mails that you may wish to send regarding the matter, but will not be answering phone calls on this matter, as all complaints and issues need to be in writing to insure that they are addressed correctly. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation in this matter. Address any comments or questions to: games@fcyslnm.com.
DISCLAIMER: Preparation and release of game schedules are a function of the FCYSL and are not the responsibility of any club or individual. Release date of schedules is determined by the general procedures established by FCYSL with the cooperation and understanding of the area clubs.
Schedulers Notes for the Spring 2013 Season.
U-14 Girls - Due to the low number of teams, the schedule generated byes that prevented teams from getting their 8 games. This has been corrected to insure that all teams will get 8 games, however, there will be some weekends with no games, and each team will have to play at least 1 double header weekend. Adequate time between games has been allowed.
Additional Note: Due to my work responsibilites, this will be my final duty for the FCYSL. It has been a pleasure working for this league for more than 20 years, and I appreciate the many wonderful people that I hhave met during my time with FCYSL. I have seen many changes during this time, with many great volunteers coming and leaving, and new people coming in to fill the voids. I wish all the new FCYSL BOD members the very best of luck in the future. I am confident that the new scheduler will be able to handle this monumental task, and will do her best to insure good schedules.

At the June 12th Board of Directors Meeting, the Board approved a new policy in an effort to increase and relieve the current massive shortfall of referees.
This policy requires that each team must have at least 1 person, over the age of 14, who will attend a Recreational Referee Clinic, become Certified, and be prepared to referee games. This person should not be the coach, but should be either a parent or an older sibling.
Any teams that do not supply a certifiable candidate, will not be allowed to participate in any tournaments, including the leagues own End-of-Season Tournament.
The next Referee Certification Clinic is not yet scheduled (Tentative dates of either February 16 or 23, 2013 are under consideration). A minimum of 12 Enrollees must be registered to attend in order for a clinic to be conducted (per NMSRA guidelines). A deposit must be paid in order to guarantee attendance. Deposits can be refunded upon attendance and completion/certification of the clinic. Deposits/Registration/Clinic Costs are being covered by the area clubs, but you must be affiliated with one of the clubs at the time of registration. A committment to refereeing a minimum of 5 games will be expected by the club sponsoring referee candidates. Contact Andy Robertson, SRA, Instructor, at: robee192@hotmail.com for Clinic information or to register to attend.
