Pace and Intensity Since 1997
FC Rogue, of the Central Florida Soccer League, was formed in the fall of 1997 by friends Mike Polidore and Eddy Loyola. The team has had a mixed-bag of results in its 11 years. The side has been promoted four times, relegated three, and been to three cup finals. The fall 2004 campaign rewarded the Rogue faithful with a most memorable season.  Records for wins, points, and placement;  the good guys were once again promoted from their second place finish.  The Spring season was another cracker for the scrlet and navy. First place for 6 weeks, only one loss, and a record for fewest goals against! The Fall '07 season saw the team promoted to the Premier League for the first time in team history, a long time coming. The learning curve was steep for the boys, as they finished in 10th but turned results (2 wins and a draw) against the leagues top three teams. The Spring '08 season started of rocky, but a team record 300+ minutes clean sheet streak, saw them finish with a flurry in 4th. The fall transfer window is open, so here we go again!  Go get'em bhoy'os !!

FC Rogue Loses One of Their Own

In by far the most tragic day in the long history of FC Rogue, the team loses a much loved temmate. Monday July 9th 2007, Colin Miller, lost his battle with cancer and passed on weeks in front of his 29th birthday. Colin was a member of the team for many years and was loved and respected by all that were privlaged to have taken the field with him. He will be missed greatly by the team and all his peers. Colin's family will be in the teams thougts both now as they grieve and in the future ...

Personally I would like to add that Colin Miller was one of the finest teammates, players, and friends that I have had the privlage of knowing and playing with. I have never met a man with more love for the game or for the teammates that he played with. His unending devotion and commitment to FC Rogue will be hard to find in his stead. I will miss him more than I can possible even imagine.

As we come up on a years time since we lost our #2, ive taken time to reflect on Colin and what he meant to the team and myself over the years. As i flipped through all the memories that i have of him, i tried to find something poignant that he said or did .. and i cant think of anything. Perhaps that is the measure of a teammate. When everything he does and says remains in your memory, and there is no ONE thing, maybe that is the true meaning of a teammate ... one who no matter how small or large the endeavor, you remember them all. I miss you my friend ...
