Go Fossil Creek!   Baseball has such great memories. One of my best players was a 12 year old pitcher I had back in the 1980's who would take a miniature 'GI Joe' action figure to the mound and place it next to his feet when he pitched (for good luck I suppose--we did win a title that year). But the weird part is that the other teams just laughed. Nobody ever complained about the toy.

Have a terrific season!
Best regards from Rick Fishman, author of Sandlot Summit, the funniest youth baseball story ever.

It is still good to see that an idea thought of back in 1992 - a group who put this together for its first season back in 1993 - is still doing it "For The Kids" (original motto of the Summerfields/Park Glen Youth Association - changed to Summerfields Park Glen Little League in 1994). As one of the founding members - my best wishes to all the board, coaches, and players on a successful 2006 season!!
