June "Road Trip"

Roberto has mentioned that he would like to take a Team to Mexico to train with and play against some of the Club America Developmental Teams. They have offered the training and games to us, along with a Tour of the area and some Hospitality. Last year several girls went on the trip and also had the opportunity to train with the Mexican National Team. This was a great opportunity for them and they had a great time(After they learned what NOT to eat). If we have some interest in this NOW is the time to plan and get the best deals and apply for Passports. We will also need some Chaperones for this. Not all parents will be required to go, but all are welcome. Let me know AS SOON AS POSSIBLE, so we can Pull it together for all who want to attend.

Spring Season

Northeast Travel Is trying to form a "High School" Division for the Spring.  If we can get that division running, that is where we would prefer to play. If not we could do Lehigh again or we could do tournaments. Lehigh's deadline is Feb. 8. Fees would be about the same as Fall. Northeast Travel would only cost us Referee Fees and Coaching Fee. One a month tournaments would be ? But I think the girls would advance at least 3 times as far doing the tournaments. Let me know your opinions ASAP

Second "Session" Winter Schedule

U16 Girls Tournament schedule begins January 6 @ the Wyoming Valley Dome. It's a FIVE Tournament Package. I've e-mailed the schedule and will have hand outs at our last season game and at practice. To get the "Package Price" we need to pay in advance.

The remainder of the Club Teams will continue with the "Regular" season Games at Riverfront.

Lititz Summer Showcase
Our Girls Teams had a very good showing at this tournament.
Both the U15 and U17 Girls were Runners up in their Divisions.
Both Teams suffered from the same "Ailment", lack of Subs. If not
for that the outcomes could have been Very Different.

Congratulations to our U15 Girls Team.
These were the very first games played in our current roster
configuration. 6 current players and 6 "New" players.
You all came together and it seemed like you've been playing together
for years.

We Now Have Our Own Website for Pictures
Just go to to view the
albums already there or to add your own.
We're all interested in our "Family Pictures".
All of our Girls Soccer Pictures would be great, but any pictures
of what "Our" girls are involved in are of interest.

Anyone who shops at Redners, or would be willing to shop there;
I've signed our club up for their "Save A Tape" program.
It's a simple program - at the checkout show your card, keep your
reciept and turn it in to me and I'll put them all together, turn
them in and we'll get our "Kickback". Anyone interested see Bob Sledzinski,
I'll have the cards.
Also Don't Forget :
I've found another "Recycler" for Printer Toner Cartridges, Inkjet
Cartidges,Fax Cartridges, as the man said - "Anything That Prints".
Cartridge World on Commerce Blvd. in the same plaza as Harbor Freight.
They'll also buy any New, Unused Cartridges that we may have from old printers that don't work in our new equipment. Plus, if you take anything to them
to be "Recharged"(Dell Printer owners $16.95 cartridge), tell them
that you are supporting FC America Girls Soccer Club and they will
contribute to our fund.
Every $ Dollar $ we can make from something we would normally throw
away will cut down our costs on League and Tournament Fees.
Also, I'll recycle aluminum, can tabs, Brass, Copper. Whatever we can get
our "Hands On". I know some of you guys are contractors, so I know
you get your hands on some of this. I don't want it all(I realize this is
"Mad Money" for you guys)that's how I got started "Recycling". The
more we can get in to the "Fund", the less we'll have to dig into
the "Mad Money"
