Dear Players, Parents and Friends,

The Falls Church/Annandale Babe Ruth League is cooperating with the other Northern Virginia Babe Ruth Leagues (including Alexandria, Springfield, Greater Fairfax, Vienna, Chantilly, and Herndon) to sponsor a 2009 Fall Ball Season.  The combined leagues will field teams in three divisions, including:  a transition program for players just graduating from Little League to the 90 foot diamond, a division for 14 and 15-year-olds, and a senior division for 16 to 19-year-olds.  We expect to play approximately 14 to 16 games (one weekday and one weekend game each week) beginning in early September through late October.

Fall Ball will be instructional and there will be no try-outs.  Players will be placed based on their league age for the 2010 spring season.  Spring 2009 season graduates from Little League programs will play in the transition league for rising 12-year-olds, spring 2009 season 13-and 14-year-olds will play in the 14-/15-year-old division, and 2009 season 15- through 19-year-olds will play in the senior division.
