Welcome to the Fayette County Youth Football Association website. The FCYFA is dedicated to making each childs football or cheerleading experience a positive and enjoyable one. The FCYFA puts SAFETY first in the minds all coaches, officials, and administrators of this program. We have football and cheerleading programs available for children ages 5-13. On this website you will find information such as registration dates, game schedules, games results, and directions to the away locations.
The FCYFA would also like to tip their hat to parents of this organization. We would like to remind everyone this is YOUR association and your support is greatly needed and appreciated.

2007 Season is on!
The Fayette County Youth Football Association 2007 season has begun. Inter county play started after Labor Day and the Division I squads started the week prior.
The 90 pound team stands at 2-1, posting a 12-6 win over Rockdale and a 8-6 win over Sandtown. They dropped a heartbreaker in their opener to Tucker, 25-24 in overtime.
The 105 team is 1-2. They dropped their opener 8-0 to Tucker and lost another close one to Sandtown, 7-6. They won the home opener 8-6 over Rockdale. A strong defense and excellent special teams play has kept them in every game.
The 120 won their first game last week at Sandtown, 18-6 while losing their first two games to Tucker and Rockdale.
The 140 team posted back to back shutouts at Tucker and against Rockdale but ran into a buzzsaw at Sandtown and were shutout themselves. They stand at 2-1 and make it worth staying all day to watch their talented squad play.
Intramural play is at Brooks, Fayette County, Peachtree City and Landmark Christian every Saturday. Come out and enjoy some outstanding football!

2007 Tryout Dates
Football season is about to begin! Important dates to remember:
July 21st 10 am to 2 pm Last day of signups at McCurry Park. Equipment is being handed out to all 9 yr and older players... get there early!
July 23rd All players, 9 yrs and older must report to McCurry Park at 6 pm. We will begin Division I tryouts. Even if your son is not interested or may not fit the weight categories, we need him there. If your son does not make a Division I squad or is too heavy - the 9,10,11, and 12 yr olds will be going through practices with the Prep and DII coaches. These practices will allow the coaches to evaulate the players and in turn draft teams on July 28th. So please show up - we will get you to the proper coach.
August 4th 9 am All 5 and 6 yr old players need to be at McCurry Park by 9 am ready to tryout. Tryouts will last about 1 hour. Players need to wear shorts, T shirt and cleats. Draft for the Pee Wee division will occur immediately follwing the tryouts. Practice for this group begins August 6th.
August 4th 11 am All 7 and 8 yr old players need to be at McCurry Park by 11 am ready to tryout. Same as above, shorts,shirt and cleats. Draft to immediately follow and practice to begin on the 6th.
Equipment for 5-8 will be handled the first week of practiced and coordinated by Ty Goodman with each head coach.

Division I Schedule
Please go to the Handout Section for the complete 2007 Division I Blue Devil Schedule. The Devils open the season August 25th against the always tough, Tucker Lions, in Tucker. The first game is at 2 pm atTucker with the 90 pound team opening the season. The 105,120 and 140 will follow at 4,6, and 8 pm.
