FAST Sailing is a competitive travel sailing team for kids in New England. We practice and sail in regattas in Optimists, Lasers, 420s and 29ERs. With top level national team coaching, we attract the best youth sailors at all levels.

Our goal is to supplement the sailing programs offered by the yacht clubs of the region, by enabling enthusiastic sailors to practice in the spring and fall as well as travel to regattas around the country. In 2006, our team participated in the Opti Valentines Day regatta, Team Trials, Nationals, New Englands, Atlantic Coast Championships, and Midwinters. FAST sailors won the 2005 Midwinters and the 2006 Midwest Championships !! Our Laser 4.7 and Radial sailors went to the North Americans and the Worlds.

The next Opti team event scheduled is our participation at the USODA Nationals on Lake Minnetonka, Jul 21-26.  Fourteen FAST sailors will attend the event.
