Information:

New state-of-the-art FieldTurf installed on The SportZone softball field in August 2009!!!

Come indoors and play at The SportZone - the Midwest’s premier indoor softball facility !!!

Last winter we hosted girls fastpitch teams from 13 states !!!

ALL SportZone fastpitch tournaments are ASA A Northern National Qualifiers - paid berth**!!

3 Game Guarantee. Individual awards for 1st and 2nd place teams. Roster limit of 15 players. All games are played on SZ’s climate-controlled new FieldTurf field with 35 foot roof!!!

Championship game – no new inning starts after 1 hour, 10 minutes of play. All other games - no new inning starts after 1 hour of play. ASA rules. We have eliminated the “foul-out” rule. Players may wear rubber outdoor cleats (no metal).

Nine-player defense. Teams may bat their entire roster if they wish. Free defensive substitution.

Private pre-game team warm-up areas. Spectator areas behind outfield fence – bleachers or bring you own chair.

Each team will have free use of The SportZone hitting tunnels and pitching areas for the duration of the softball tournament.   

No gate fees for players and spectators under age 6. Ages 6-12: discounted price. Spectators may be required to wear wristbands.

Final tournament schedules may not be available until the Wednesday before the tournament.

Game ball is yellow leather cover RIF level 10 softball that plays nearly identical to a real ball.

Tournament play can begin Friday night at 9:30pm. Championship game will be on Sunday afternoon. 14U-18U tournaments could be played nearly “around the clock”.

** Tournament winner must also participate in the 2009 Indiana ASA A State tournament to receive the paid berth to the 2009 ASA A Northern Nationals.    See our website, www.sportzoneindy.com, for more info on Northern National Qualifiers and ASA points!!

Cost:    $395 per team.      
A $100.00 non-refundable deposit is required to hold a spot.

If Holiday Inn North cannot accommodate your group, we have other hotel options and will work with you for the best fit. This is a requirement for all hotel arrangements.
