Information:

We plan to host a twelve team exposure tournament next July at our fields in Minooka, Illinois. We are approximately 40 miles from both Chicago airports and have two new fields which were constructed last year.

We are the Stone City Sharks: www.sharksoftball.net and we will register as a Gold Team in 2008.

July 10 through July 13 are the dates. We will give each team two pool games per day on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, and will have a single elimination tournament Sunday for those teams wishing to stay. If you have to leave Saturday for a trip you will be guaranteed six games. All games will be held in one complex and will be scheduled on a two hour basis. We have ten acres at our facility and there is plenty of room for relaxation between games.

We have a full service concession stand and we grill all of our food on site. The motels in the immediate area are all booked for the NASCAR races that weekend, but rooms should be available within a half hour's ride.

We will schedule your two games per day early one day and late the next day. You will then be able to do other things in the Chicago area during your stay.

The entry fee will be $500.00 and we will supply balls. All umpires will be registered ASA officials. We will play free substitution so all teams can give their players the greatest opportunity to be observed by the college coaches.
