Maine Hits Live Pitch is an indoor softball hitting league that puts live pitchers against real hitters. The playing field is composed of a pitcher and catcher vs. a hitter of the opposing team on a 60 by 40 foot playing surface. An umpire will be supplied for all games. Maine Hits has created a netted 'stadium' where balls that are hit will be scored according to location. The game will last for 1 hour and 10 minutes or 7 innings. Each team will play 6 games one per week with a playoff at the end to determine the champion. Standings and scores will be kept on our website. The number of playoff teams will be determined based on number of teams at sign up.

* The league is open to player ages 12-18 and will be broken into league age divisions U14 and High School. Teams will consist of 4-6 players. There will be house teams for individual sign ups or can be added to other teams to fill minimum required players

* Cost: per team is $495.00 per team or $125.00 individual player. Session includes double elimination playoff

14U and under session will be 6 weeks with 3 weeks double elimination for playoffs    Jan 10, 17, 24, 31, Feb 7, 28 and playoff dates March 7, 14, 21. No games Feb school vacation week.

High School session will be 6 weeks with 3 weeks double elimination for playoffs    Jan 9, 16, 23, 30, Feb 6, 27 and playoff dates March 6, 13, 20. No games Feb school vacation week.

Spring Training games for High Schools that would like to come to Florida to play games. We offer a state of the art facility along with practice times. Your games can be official or unofficial. 2 umpires that are NFHS certified per game. Divisions will be set for 10U, 12U, 14U and 16U.

• 4 Game Minimum (3 pool and 1 elimination)

• Field Dimensions: 175ft to Left; 190ft to Center; 100ft to Right. Ceiling Height: 35ft, 3 fields available (2 indoor, 1 outdoor)
