LEARN FROM ONE OF SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA'S MOST EXPERENCED HITTING INSTRUCTORS 6/25/2009
Learn the mechanics used by great hitters, such as 2007 & 2009 College National Player of the Year Finalist Kaitlyn Cochran. Katie, one of my former students, utilizes the hitting mechanics that I have taught, along with my training staff, at Baseball Softball World since opening in 1994. Her long list of accomplishments includes 2009 USA Softball National Team selection, 2008 NCAA National Championship with ASU, 2007 National Batting Champ, 4-time All-American and 3-time Pac 10 Player of the Year. Check our "Testimonials" web page to read a testimonial from Katies' father Pat, written in 2007 after her National Batting Title season.
I have been a full-time professional instructor since 1994 and have conducted more than 40,000 private lessons. My former students have gone on to play in every major college conference in the country and are frequent participants in the Womens College World Series. Students who attend lessons over an extended period of time can expect to learn the material listed on the link to the “Complete Hitter” webpage. (see below) - please note that this program is one option. Students can also pay for one lesson at at time, or purchase a smaller package of lessons.
During lessons I provide a level of detail not given by travel ball, high school or college coaches, who because of time limitations, have to keep instruction group oriented. This approach scratches the surface of what can be taught to a hitter. I specialize in personalized one-on-one instruction. Every student is evaluated as an individual with their own unique set of skills, weaknesses and thought processes. I attack the biggest mechanical problems first and move on from there. Not surprisingly, this approach often results in immediate significant improvement.
At Baseball Softball World, we believe there is nothing more crucial to an athlete's development than training one-on-one with an expert instructor who has played the game. Every professional instructor should possess the experience as a player to demonstrate what they teach. I provide the technical information and demonstration that students need, and have done so with thousands of students, beginners to advanced, boys and girls.
