Coach Majewski - Head Coach Boys U19 & U16
Coach Mike Majewski was born in Cleveland, Ohio and started playing Rugby for Baldwin Wallace College in 1980. He did a lot of travelling back then and joined the local Rugby Clubs where he lived. These included Blue Goose Rugby in Breckenridge, Colorado; Polk Pillagers in Lakeland, Florida; Tahoe STARS in South Lake Tahoe; and finally with the Escondido Gurkhas. After 6 years of playing "flanker" and another year at "scrum half", Mike gained a better understanding of the game. He hung up his boots in 1987 at the age of 27 to pursue his career as a commercial diver. Now, 20 years later, he is thrilled to be involved in Rugby again. Mike was an assistant coach under Steve Hernandez in 2007 with the Boys U16 and U14 teams, both of which had very sucessful seasons. This off-season Mike attended a number of Rugby clinics and now is a Certified Coach, as well as a Level-1 Referee. Mike is married to his wife Karla, and has lived in Fallbrook since 1989. They have 2 sons, Derek 17 and Tim 13, both who play Rugby. Coach Majewski is looking forward to another successful and fun-filled season of Fallbrook Rugby!

Marin Pinnell - Head Coach Girls Rugby at FHS
Ms. Pinnell was born and raised in Fallbrook. She played a variety of sports growing up including softball, soccer, and gymnastics. In high school she played field hockey for four years, two of which were on the varsity team. In 1992 her varsity team won the league championship. She graduated from Fallbrook High School in 1994.
Ms. Pinnell met her husband, Craig, in 1997 and in 1998 she moved to South Africa to live with his family for a year. While there, Craig taught her to understand the game of Rugby, it's laws, tactics, and players. She remembers fondly the first games she watched on television; the Springboks playing the Tri-Nations tournament. She and Craig moved back to the USA in 1999 and two years later they were craving and missing Rugby, so they planned a trip to London and while there watched the Springboks play England at Twickenham. After watching Jonny Wilkinson, her love of Rugby began to grow. They traveled to Texas to watch the Springboks play the USA Eagles, to Edinburgh to watch the Springboks play Scotland, and to South Africa to watch the Springboks play many matches in the Tri-Nations tournament.
Ms. Pinnell graduated from UCSD with a B.S. in general biology, and obtained her single subject teaching credential from CSUSM. This is her fifth year teaching high school, but her second year teaching biology and chemistry at Fallbrook High School. When she learned that a Rugby Club was being organized, she instantly decided the she wanted to be a part. She is now serving as the Fallbrook High School Rugby Club advisor, and the Girls Rugby coach. She is currently certified as a level 1 referee, and although she has never played rugby herself, she feels that she fully understands the game and in having Craig as her assistant coach, she will ensure that the girls will have a great Rugby Season in 2008.

Keri Adams - Assistant Coach
Keri was born in Auckland, New Zealand. He started playing Rugby around age 5 or 6 and played all through his school years. At 17 he finished High School and went to teach school. At that time he joined Manurewa Rugby Club where he played for 2 years. At 19 he left New Zealand and went to England to travel, and in doing so he joined Holt RFC in Norfolk. This was a great experience for him as it was tough conditions and much colder that he was used to. He came to California in 1992 and did not play for 5 years. He has played for 2 teams in the past 10 years, the last of which was San Diego Old Aztecs and was in the playoffs in April of 2007. He ruptured his Achilles tendon which interrupted his playing career. He has played "forward" positions his whole life, moving from 8 through 3. He has played all three "front row" positions at a Senior level. He has never coached, bust is willing to learn and is excited to teach all that he knows.
