Meeting called to order at 7:10pm

Starting Balance was $21,060.36

Crew Picnic is being held on Saturday, May 30th at Lake Lenape from 12 noon until 4pm.  See email sent on 5/26 for more details.

Magazine Fundraiser - we had less involvement than last year but all the orders have been sent in to the company.  Hopefully we will have net profit amount for next meeting..
Avon Fundraiser - please get your order forms into Lois Townsend by Thursday the 21st.
Coaches looking forward to Nationals.  4 boats are going.  Boys V4 and Lightweight 4 and girls V4 and JV4
Loaning of Ergs - tabled until next meeting
John Weller is coordinating 2 coin drops in June - the first one on the 13th and the 2nd on the 20th.  He will send out more detailed info by email.  We made $638.75 on last coin drop.  Great work John!!
Next meeting right before Awards night begins.  We will be voting for new officers.

Directions, parking information, and schedule (and results later on) can be found on the PhillyFlicks.com web site and is usually available by the Friday before the race. Each week is a little different, and gets progressively more busy, hectic and exciting, for parents, athletes and coaches alike.

The Oakcrest Crew Booster Club is a registered 503(C)B charitable organization and would greatly appreciate your sponsorship.

Almost all of the equipment expenses are funded by the Oakcrest Crew Booster Club. Some ways your efforts and contributions will help our Oakcrest High School Rowing Team... 

Provide funds for the payments for our new racing shells from Vespoli. Each new 8 boat costs $26,000 or more. Fours cost around $16,000. We are currently conducting fundraisers to make payments on our boats. The Oakcrest Crew Booster Club makes monthly installment payments for our equipment. Sponsorship packets are available: e-mail falconcrew@comcast.net for additional information.
 

Help sponsor an ergometer machine for the Oakcrest Erg and conditioning area. Each new ergometer cost $850+.
Provide funds to help defray the expenses of our volunteer assistant coaches.
Help maintain and repair launches, practice shells, racing shells and boathouse equipment.
Coaches can always use experienced boaters to help maintain equipment.
We will need to borrowing or purchase new launches for practice, so if you have one, please consider loaning one to the Crew program for the spring season. E-mail the webmaster if you can help with this.
Donate food and beverages for our regatta season (March - June). We need sports drinks and healthy foods for our hard working, dedicated athletes.
