About The Board of Directors
The management of the Fairport Packers organization is vested in its Board of Directors. The Board meets monthly to conduct business and to review the status of our programs. If you are interested in serving, please contact Lisa Costello, President.

Duties of Secretary of Cheerleaders

  1. Responsible for all rosters and paperwork for cheerleading squads which include name, address, copy of birth certificate, current picture, phone #, copy of physical, team assignment.

  2. Responsible for annual certification of cheerleading squads by the league which include eligibility of cheerleaders.

  3. Prepares cheerleader rosters and publishes rosters by March of each year with monthly updates through September 1st of each year.

  4. Prepares board member roster.

  5. Prepares material and is responsible for yearly registration to be held at the end of the year banquet and open registration held in January of each year.

  6. Coordinates annual name/address/telephone booklet of each football and cheerleading squad.

  7. Attends banquet, open registration, and equipment handout to obtain paperwork. Sends paperwork out as requested.



Duties of Director of Concessions

  1. Responsible for the purchase and sale of all goods to be sold including
        food, candy, and beverages at games and scrimmages.

  2. Establishes competitive prices for each item for sale.

  3. Responsible for all set up and tear down of concession stand.

  4. Responsible for registering the concession wagon with NYS Department of
        Motor Vehicles.

  5. Responsible for payment of all field officials at home games.




Duties of Director of Flag Football

  1. Responsible for Flag Football program for players.

  2. Maintains play book.

  3. Appoints head coach and assistants.

  4. Maintains and recommends equipment needs.

  5. Coordinates end of season party.




Duties of Director of Equipment

  1. Responsible for all equipment management, refurbishing, and supply.

  2. Prepares equipment needs and budget for board approval.

  3. Maintains and acts as liason with equipment storage facility.

  4. Coordinates with Vice President of Players and coaching staff equipment pick-up and return.



Duties of Director of Publicity

  1. Prepare publicity ads for open registration.

  2. Prepare and copy flyers and distribute to individual schools for open registration.

  3. Obtain school administration approval for distribution.

  4. Coordinates weekly articles with coaching staff for newspapers.

  5. Responsible for pictures and photo buttons.

  6. Responsible for weekly 50/50 raffle.



Duties of Webmaster

  1. Responsible for recommending enhancements and suggestions for development and maintenance of Packers website.

  2. Maintenance to the website is done as needed with higher activity during the playing season and registration time.

  3. Responsible for reporting to the board current activities and recommendations for the website.

  4. Responsible to review and obtain board approval for additions, renovations, changes, or any financial expenditures.

  5. Responsible to establish and assist with link to the league.
