    Registration - Frequently Asked Questions

Question: My child is 9 years old but exceeds the 100lb weight limit. Can he still play on the C team?
Answer:The child must be within 5lbs of the weigh limit at certification. Certification takes place about a week after the start of practice. If the child does not make the weigh limit at that time, he or she cannot play on the C team, but can move up to B team.

Question: My daughter is 8 years old and wants to sign up for flag football. Is she eligible?
Answer: All teams are open to boys and girls who want to play as long as they meet the age requirements.

Question: What is the time commitment for flag players?
Answer: Practices in August, for flag players only, are 2 nights a week from 6:00 to 7:00 pm. Once school is in session, practices are held 1 nights per week from 6:00-7:00p, with games on Saturday mornings.
