C Squad News - updated August 24th
Hello C Squad Families!
I must say that we are having a very difficult season, mostly because the weather will not cooperate with us. And because of this we have also found ourselves a little behind our goals for the season. But the girls continue to rise to the challenge and make fantastic progress. This week we completed the movement for our half time cheer, incorporated the stunting in the half time cheer, and even changed formations a couple of times. We were also reviewed our sideline cheers as we prepare for the upcoming first football game. Their excellent performance at the show off shows just how much effort they continue to put in to practices, and the complements keep coming in from other coaches and parents about how great the girls look. Again…a great job this week!
We have asked the girls for three things this season. The first thing is to come to practice ready to work. The second is to be willing to try new things. And the third thing is to always try their best in everything they do. We have certainly had our challenges. But when you consider that the girls have had only seven full practice sessions with the half time cheer and have come as far as they have, you can see why I think they are remarkable. I am very proud of this group for what they have accomplished so far. I can’t wait to see how well they do moving forward.
